We at the PA State Pet Memorial & Cemetery understand that for many pet owners transporting their deceased pet can be a very stressful situation. For that reason, PA State Pet Memorial & Cemetery offers a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week pick up service from either your home or animal hospital’s office.

To arrange for transportation within Harrisburg and surrounding service areas, please call 1-877-738-3863 or 717-691-0880. A staff member will make arrangements to pick up and transport your pet within four hours of your initial call and request for services.

PA State Pet Memorial & Cemetery realizes it is very important that this service be provided with the utmost of respect for you and your pet. For this reason, we have developed a transport protocol that will meet all of these needs.

All pets transported whether it be from your home or animal hospital’s office will be secured inside a journey’s end transport bed and carried to the transport vehicle. For pets over 40 pounds, they are placed on a stretcher and placed into our transport vehicle. All pets are taken to the PA State Pet Memorial & Cemetery where the requested memorial cremation or burial option takes place.
